Just Writing From Within

Nothing that beautiful Can last forever and that is why you let me go you stole the flower and tore off the petals loves me loves me not until there was nothing left abandoned  alone  you walked away leaving me in pieces loves me   not

I want to hold on but you’re not mine to hold on to not anymore  maybe not ever so I try to let you go piece by piece  memory by memory I let go of our hopeful plans for our future  of our once conceivable life together  of the you I wanted so desperately to still love  but the love is long gone and so are you so here I am letting go of the you I once knew

I say "I love you" but it is a question. Do you love me, like I love you? Do you know that I wonder about my worth our happiness your love? Do you know that I feel alone in your arms? That your eyes are empty as you look at me? Do you know that I love you? Or should I just let you go?

everything I have been through has been sown in me the heartache  the happiness they are all a part of me thousands of inescapable memories I know them all I feel them all but who will they make me? what will I grow to be?  will I know before it’s too late to start over?
